Zoé Takes San Diego Through the Milky Way

When talking about some of the most influential Mexican bands in the indie and alternative scene, it is impossible not to mention Zoé. Formed in 1994 in Cuernavaca, the band has spent more than three decades building a musical legacy that has crossed generations and become an important part of Mexican culture.

32 years after forming, Zoé returned to San Diego as part of their Memorex + Rexsexex + Más tour, bringing their music to Viejas Arena for a night filled with nostalgia, memories, and some of the band's most recognizable songs.

From the beginning, it was clear that San Diego was ready for the band. Viejas Arena was packed, and throughout the show, fans sang along to song after song, creating a strong connection between the audience and the band.

The set opened with “Memorex” and continued with fan favorites including “Vinyl,” “Vía Láctea,” “No Me Destruyas,” “Corazón Atómico” and “Mrs. Nitro.” Zoé continued traveling through different eras of their career with songs such as “Paula,” “Triste Sister,” “Campo de Fuerza” and “Arrullo de Estrellas.”

One of the night's standout moments came with “Labios Rotos,” followed by “Hielo,” which closed the main set.

The night was not over yet. Zoé returned for an encore featuring “Azul,” “Miel,” “Luna” and finally “Soñé,” bringing the concert to an emotional close.

Zoé's return to San Diego became a celebration of more than three decades of music. With a packed Viejas Arena and fans singing along throughout the night, the band showed that their music continues to connect with new generations while maintaining the special bond they have built with longtime fans.
