Xolos and Reebok begin a new chapter
Tijuana, December 18.
The city of Tijuana experienced a true celebration with the official presentation of the new Xolos men’s jersey for the 2026 season, an event that also marked Reebok’s return as the club’s official partner. The new alliance was celebrated with a special event where both the men’s and women’s kits were unveiled, signaling a fresh chapter in the history of the border club.
A festive atmosphere honoring Xolos history
The afternoon kicked off with local bands setting the mood, performing a mix of musical genres and adapting popular songs with Xolos-themed lyrics. This was followed by a panel featuring club legends, with Fernando Arce and “Kali” Núñez in attendance, as they reminisced about key moments in club history, including the memorable 2012 championship.
The event then continued with Hada Jazmín, the official voice of Estadio Caliente, who led into the most anticipated moment of the night: the unveiling of the new jerseys.
Retro design and a renewed identity for Clausura 2026
The presentation began with the casual and training collections, immediately making it clear that the creative direction leaned toward a retro-inspired style. Shortly after, the official match kits were revealed.
The men’s home jersey stays true to Xolos’ identity, featuring traditional red and black horizontal stripes, complemented by a classic polo-style collar. Meanwhile, the away jersey arrives in an eye-catching lavender color, highlighted by subtle “X” patterns in lighter tones, along with white and red details.
During the event, the official first team squad and the club’s new head coach were also introduced, following the departure of Juan Romo, officially ushering in a new sporting era.
Gilberto Mora, the face of the new jersey
To close the night, Pony, the voice of Xolos, introduced a video starring Gilberto Mora, chosen as the face of this new chapter. The video portrayed Mora with a cinematic, mafia-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of Scarface, standing out for its high production quality and generating excitement among fans in attendance.
The evening concluded with players modeling the new jerseys. While the designs may spark debate among supporters, they clearly aim to blend tradition, modern style, and Tijuana pride.
A new cycle full of expectations
With this unveiling, Xolos and Reebok made it clear that they are committed to strengthening the club’s identity ahead of the Clausura 2026. The partnership promises designs that reflect the spirit of the Xolaje and maintain a strong connection to the city.
The event delivered exactly what it set out to do: give Tijuana a memorable holiday celebration and build anticipation for the upcoming season, where Xolos will look to remain competitive and continue the momentum from the previous tournament.
