Toros de Tijuana have officially announced the signing of Tyler Beede, who will join the club’s pitching staff ahead of the upcoming Liga Mexicana de Beisbol (LMB) season. The goal is clear: remain the league’s top collective pitching unit and contend for the championship.

The right-hander, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, arrives in Tijuana with an extensive professional résumé and experience on some of baseball’s biggest stages.

Major League Experience and First-Round Draft Pedigree

Beede was selected in the first round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays, a distinction that marked him early on as one of the most promising arms of his generation.

Over five seasons in Major League Baseball, Tyler Beede pitched for storied organizations such as the San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, and most recently the Cleveland Guardians, gaining experience both as a starter and a reliever.

International Success in Japan

In addition to his MLB career, Beede expanded his professional path internationally by pitching in Japan, where he suited up for the Yomiuri Giants, the most decorated franchise in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).
