A proven arm joins the Bulls

Toros de Tijuana have officially announced the signing of left-handed pitcher Enny Romero, adding a veteran arm to their roster ahead of the 2026 Liga Mexicana de Béisbol season. Romero is expected to join the team for spring training beginning March 9.

Global baseball experience

Romero has pitched in Major League Baseball with the Rays, Nationals, Pirates, and Royals, and later built a strong résumé in Japan, where he recorded 105 strikeouts in a single season with the Chunichi Dragons.

He later pitched for the Chiba Lotte Marines, posting a 3.60 ERA and 202 strikeouts over 45 appearances in the Japanese leagues.

Strong form in the Caribbean

Currently pitching in the Caribbean Series with Leones del Escogido, Romero delivered a dominant outing on February 2, throwing five scoreless innings to earn a win for the Dominican champions.

Key addition for 2026

With a diverse pitch mix and extensive international experience, Enny Romero adds depth, leadership, and quality to Toros de Tijuana’s pitching staff as the club prepares for the upcoming LMB campaign.
