San Diego Wave FC has officially announced the signing of Kiki Pickett as a free agent, securing the versatile defender and midfielder on a two-year contract through the 2027 season.

Her arrival strengthens the team with valuable depth and experience as the club looks to remain competitive in the NWSL.

Proven NWSL experience

Pickett brings extensive league experience, having made 68 NWSL appearances, 51 as a starter, with three goals and two assists during her professional career.

Most recently with Bay FC, she logged 39 appearances, 31 starts, contributing both defensively and offensively. She also previously played for North Carolina Courage and Kansas City Current, gaining experience across multiple high-level environments.

Elite collegiate background

Pickett developed at Stanford University, where she played from 2017 to 2021, appearing in 87 matches and helping the Cardinal win NCAA national championships in 2017 and 2019.

Her senior season earned her Pac-12 Defender of the Year honors along with multiple All-Conference and All-Region selections.
