San Diego FC fails to respond at home
San Diego FC suffered another setback at home, losing 2-1 to Minnesota United in Matchday 7 of Major League Soccer.
After their previous loss to San Jose Earthquakes, the California side aimed to bounce back but once again fell short.
Early goal sparks hope
Minnesota started with high pressure and early chances, but in the 6th minute, Alex Morgan assisted Luca Bombino, who scored a brilliant goal to make it 1-0.
Minnesota turns the game around
The visitors quickly responded. Tomás Chancalay delivered a cross that Kyle Duncan headed in for the equalizer.
Before halftime, Kelvin Yeboah scored from another wide play to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead.
Another red card changes everything
Early in the second half, Chris McVey was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, leaving San Diego with ten players.
This marked the fourth consecutive match with a red card for the team, highlighting ongoing discipline issues.
