First Half: Pachuca answers back in hostile territory
The match began with Tigres on the front foot, and their dominance was rewarded in the 31st minute when María Sánchez scored a spectacular free-kick to make it 1-0.
But Pachuca showed character and quickly leveled the score. In the 40th minute, Charlyn Corral converted from the penalty spot to silence the crowd and send the game into halftime tied 1-1.
Second Half: Tuzas strike with authority
Just seconds into the second half, Pachuca turned the game around as Osinachi Ohale found the back of the net in the 46th minute. Tigres responded with fire, equalizing through Diana Ordóñez in the 58th minute to restore hope at El Volcán.
Drama escalated when Tigres head coach Pedro Martínez Losa was shown a red card in the 66th minute, unsettling the home side. Pachuca capitalized on the chaos, and in the 75th minute, Nigerian forward Chinwendu Ihezuo struck inside the box to put Pachuca ahead 3-2.
