Mazatlán, August 22 – The Estadio Kraken witnessed an intense showdown where Mazatlán FC and Tigres UANL drew 2-2, in a clash full of goals, red cards, and VAR controversies.

First Half: Mazatlán surprises despite being down a man

Drama came early in the match. In the 11th minute, Bryan Colula was sent off after a VAR review, leaving the home side with 10 players for nearly the entire match. Despite the disadvantage, Mazatlán struck first in the 22nd minute with a header from Facundo Almada, sending the crowd into celebration.
