A Vibrant Battle in La Noria

The La Noria training complex hosted one of the most exciting matches of the season as Cruz Azul Femenil defeated Club Tijuana Femenil 4–3 in a dramatic contest full of goals, intensity, and late heroics.

The home side started strong and quickly took control with goals from Ana Martínez and Niomi Grimaldo, capitalizing on defensive lapses by the Xolos. Later, Aerial Chavarin added the third goal for Cruz Azul, closing a dominant first half for the hosts.

However, the visitors refused to give up. Within minutes, Roselord Borgella, Hildah Tholakele Magaia, and Kader Hançar all found the net for Tijuana, bringing the score to 3–2 before halftime and keeping the match alive.

A Late Header Seals It for the Cementeras

In the second half, Xolos Femenil kept pushing forward and created several dangerous chances, but Daniela Calderón, who had come off the bench, delivered the decisive blow in the 88th minute with a powerful header goal to make it 4–3.

Calderón’s goal sent the home crowd into celebration and marked her first goal of the season, giving Cruz Azul three valuable points in their quest to climb the Liga MX Femenil standings.
