The match was marked by tension and frequent fouls, but it was Sandra Nabweteme who scored the decisive penalty in stoppage time at 90+3 to give the Guerreras a critical home victory.
Santos Takes the Lead with a Long-Range Strike
The home team struck first in the 38th minute, when Lía Romero Torres launched a powerful shot from outside the box that beat the Chivas goalkeeper. With that goal, Santos went into halftime leading 1-0, having dictated the pace and forced several fouls from the visitors.
