With the Clásico Nacional approaching, the final stretch of the Liga MX Femenil season is beginning to shape the playoff picture under the league's new format. In this context, Chivas and Toluca, two of the competition's leading teams, faced off in a thrilling matchup that ended with a remarkable comeback by Guadalajara.

The home side took the lead in the 27th minute, when legendary forward Eugénie Le Sommer found the back of the net. Toluca went into halftime holding a narrow 1-0 advantage.

The situation became even more difficult for Guadalajara early in the second half. In the 48th minute, Karla Martínez scored Toluca's second goal, putting Chivas under pressure and forcing the visitors to find a response.

However, everything began to change in the 67th minute. A penalty was awarded to Guadalajara, and Licha Cervantes stepped up to convert it, bringing Chivas back into the game. Just five minutes later, in the 72nd minute, the legendary Rebaño striker scored again to complete her brace and level the score at 2-2.

With the match turning into an end-to-end battle, Chivas found the decisive goal to complete the comeback. In the 79th minute, Natalia Ruiz scored her first goal for Guadalajara, putting the visitors ahead and securing a dramatic 3-2 victory.

The result provides a significant boost for Chivas ahead of one of the most anticipated matchups of the season: the Clásico Nacional against América.
