Kansas City’s comeback and dominance

The Chiefs defeated the Ravens 37-20 with a complete performance: Patrick Mahomes threw four touchdown passes, reaching his 250th career TD. Kansas City was perfect on fourth down conversions (4/4), committed no offensive turnovers, and controlled both the clock and field position against Baltimore.

Lamar Jackson left the game with a thigh injury in his throwing arm, replaced by Cooper Rush, but the gap was already too wide for the Ravens to mount a comeback.

Seahawks win with last-second field goal

In a dramatic finish, Seattle beat Arizona 23-20 with a 52-yard field goal by Jason Myers as time expired. The Seahawks showed poise and balance, earning a key divisional win with a late comeback.

Jaguars stun on the West Coast

One of the biggest upsets came as Jacksonville beat the 49ers 26-21 in San Francisco. The Jaguars forced four turnovers —including two interceptions by Devin Lloyd— and scored on a punt return TD from Parker Washington. Running back Travis Etienne added a 48-yard explosive run to seal the win.

Broncos shine on Monday Night

On Monday Night Football, the Broncos dominated the Bengals with a strong all-around performance. Bo Nix threw two touchdowns and added one on the ground, while Marvin Mims contributed in the running game. Denver’s defense contained Cincinnati after a hot start, completing an impressive primetime showing.

Bills stay perfect at home

Buffalo extended their unbeaten run with a 31-19 victory over the Saints. They capitalized on key penalties (including a roughing-the-punter call) and executed well in the fourth quarter. With the win, the Bills remain the only undefeated team in the AFC at this stage.

Records broken this week

  • Chase McLaughlin set a new mark with a 65-yard field goal, the longest ever made outdoors.

  • Puka Nacua tied the record for most receptions in the first four weeks of a season with 42 (joining Cooper Kupp and Michael Thomas).

  • Patrick Mahomes became the youngest player to reach 250 passing touchdowns, doing it faster than anyone else in history (116 games).
