América Women Crush Querétaro 11-0 in Historic Night at Coapa

Azulcrema masterclass: América Femenil delivers their most dominant win of the season with a hat-trick from Angelique Saldivar and a brace from Kiana Palacios

Offensive onslaught from the opening whistle

From the very start, América took control of the match. In the 18th minute, Kiana Palacios opened the scoring with a strike from inside the box. Just nine minutes later, Kimberly Rodríguez headed home a corner to make it 2-0.

América didn’t let up, and by the 39th and 41st minutes, Angelique Saldivar had netted twice in quick succession, sending the team into halftime with a commanding 4-0 lead.

Second half nightmare for Querétaro

Things only got worse for the visitors in the second half. Just after the restart, Angelique Saldivar completed her hat-trick in the 53rd minute, followed by a goal from Bruna Vilamala moments later. Kiana Palacios added her second with a long-range effort in the 66th minute, and Irene Guerrero made it 8-0 shortly after.

Despite several substitutions, América didn’t lose intensity. Saldivar and Scarlett Camberos added goals in the 78th and 83rd minutes, and finally, Kiana Palacios completed the 11-0 rout in the 87th minute, capping off a flawless performance.

Querétaro overwhelmed, reduced to 10 players

Querétaro struggled to create chances throughout the match. Their goalkeeper made several impressive saves to delay the avalanche of goals, but there was little the team could do to withstand América’s constant pressure. Daniela Carrandi received a red card in the 85th minute, compounding a night to forget for the visitors.

Tactical and collective brilliance

América not only dominated the scoreline but also controlled possession, generated high shot volume, and executed set pieces to perfection — scoring five goals from corner kick situations. The squad showed great depth, with young talents like Ana Paula Pedrero and Arantza Segura contributing off the bench without the team missing a beat.

What’s next

With this emphatic win, América Femenil remain at the top of the standings and send a clear message ahead of the playoffs. Their next match will be against Necaxa.
